Marliz is a winter coat brand for women and men that needed its e-commerce store. I worked on the store's design end to end: information architecture, user flows, the design system (colors, typography, grid, buttons and fields) and the desktop screens, with a restrained look in mauve tones. I worked hand in hand with the product's two owners and a developer.
User types
Shopper
Explores collections from the menu, searches and filters products, saves favorites, uses their shopping bag and signs in to their account.
What I designed
01
A home that sells
A free-shipping bar, three cover panels (men, a new-collection offer and women) with a clear call to shop, and rows of popular and essential products with favorites, a “new” tag and price.
02
Clear navigation
A menu with a dropdown panel that separates new arrivals, winter, demi-season and special prices, with columns for men and women, and fixed access to account, wishlist, search and bag.
03
Search with suggestions
Opening search shows popular searches and, while typing, live results with their price, without leaving the page.
04
Catalog with filters
A product list with filters by discount, color, size, price and availability, sorting by price or featured, and pagination.
05
Design system
A palette with mauve as the main color and error, warning and success states, Crimson Text for headlines paired with Poppins for the interface, a 12-column desktop grid and buttons and fields with all their states.
